Read testimonials from North Foreland's marketing committee - given before and after their Open Days.
On 1st and 2nd of May, North Foreland Golf Club in Broadstairs hosted their very first Ladies Open Days with FORE! WOMEN. Two afternoon golf taster sessions were held to help make golf more accessible to women and to showcase the club to the local community. It also marked the start of National Golf Month.
WOW what a year 2014 was #ThisGirlCan - two women's golfHer events, 58 drop-in sessions and a baby. Typically everyone publishes their year’s review during the Christmas period. We wanted to leave it a little later to remind you of last year and to get your golfing pulses racing for this year. We’ve already launched the first of our drop-in sessions for this year (4th February). Yes, the weather’s still a little dreary and in some parts of the country they are experiencing snow. One thing that we learnt last year, if you don’t do something when you say you’re going to do it - it never gets done - especially if you don’t put it into your schedule.
Let’s get back to last year and remind ourselves of what happened in the world of FORE! WOMEN….
We interviewed Ian Mullins - Media Consultant & MD of TheSocialGolfer.com (TSG) at this year's London Golf Show and asked him for his views on social media and why it is an important tool for the golfing world. What businesses can learn from the challenges that are currently affecting golf. And of course Ian’s experience on growing his social network for golfers. We delve a little deeper to ask him how the Twittersphere, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google+ will affect golf in the future.
