Choosing the information to share FORE! Women

It is our goal to help women globally to be guided to female friendly golf courses and clubs so that you can feel confident and comfortable when you arrive. This post will guide you in choosing the profile information that you'd like to share with members.

We want to get to know you and we want other members to get to know you so that you can build friendships along your golfing journey. However, we also want to make sure that you keep your information safe. In this one step we're going to show you how to do this.

Step 1: Login to your account and select 'Edit Profile' from the 'Profile' menu list. And, you will be directed to this 'Basic Information' page.

On the right side of the page you'll see a button. In the image below it has been selected and you can choose who is able to see your details. Make sure that you apply your changes each piece of information.

Then 'SAVE' your changes. The button's on the left of the page.

Step 2:  'About me'

Whilst you're on this page, complete your 'About me' information. Here's some suggestions:

Tell us about your golf journey so far: are you brand new to the game and want to know where to get started. Or, are you returning to golf after a break. Have you played or do you play other sports? Are you like our founder, Felicity, who put herself in the 'non sporty' category - until she took up golf.

Is there something or someone who's motivated you to have a go? i.e. you want to play a social sport with your friends, you want your family to spend more quality time together outside the home environment, your partner plays and it would be great to play together when on holiday or short breaks, or there are plenty of opportunities at work for colleagues to play and network, and you'd like to gain your golfing confidence to join them.

Are there any frustrations that you have come across in your golfing journey so far that we can help you through?

By following this and the previous two help blogs, you're now ready to join a club (also known as a group) on our website.

If you have any questions, post them in the comments below or search our Tag Cloud 'Help' guide.
