Founder, Felicity is PGA Level 1 Coach and has been playing golf for 16 years. She is a member of England Golf’s Women and Girls (virtual) Advisory Group and she sit’s on the Kent County Ladies Association Committee (KCLGA).

We have introduced over 100 women into the game and we have worked with Marriott and Sky.

In 2015 we were featured on BBC Radio Kent Breakfast, Drive time and Saturday Afternoon Shows. We worked with the London Golf Show to increase female attendees and hosted the show’s Women’s Zone. Felicity has been a guest columnist for County Zone golf magazine. And, she was featured in January’s (2016) Lady Golfer as an Ambassador for women's golf.

Only 14% of golf club members are female. The 2012-14 England Golf Membership survey showed that on average golf clubs are losing 4 members per year.

If a club has a low female membership and are not active in attracting female members, prospective female members may decide not to join. As:

  • There are not enough female members to play golf with and they will struggle to find a playing partner for friendly games or competitions
  • The club will be known for not having enough female members
  • Women looking to join will dismiss it from their considerations
  • Current female club members may also be looking for an alternative club to join that has a healthy ladies section, and
  • Male members with families are more likely to discontinue their membership

In the UK, research shows that 640k women are ‘very interested’ in taking up golf (Source: Syngenta, The Opportunity to Grow Golf: Female Participation)
